Control device comprises computer to determine the distance to parking point in parking lot for vehicle to overcome, camera to register situation nearby the vehicle, interface for connection to device to output instructions on manoeuvring at motion to parking point, interface for connection with device for manual input of parking space boundaries and interface for connection to means intended for setting relationship between parking space boundaries and vehicle position. Camera is set to view the space ahead of vehicle. Portable computer comprises above described control device.
