The present invention relates to a bonding apparatus and a bonding method of assistant secondary barriers for a liquefied natural gas storage tank and provides the bonding apparatus of the assistant secondary barriers for the liquefied natural gas storage tank comprising a frame running between internal insulation panels among external insulation panels, main secondary barriers and internal insulation panels sequentially stacked on the top of each other in the liquefied natural gas storage tank; a driving unit installed in the frame and driving the frame along a first path between the internal insulation panels; an adhesive applying unit installed in the frame and applying an adhesive on the main secondary barriers; an assistant secondary barrier supplying part installed in the frame for supplying the assistant secondary barriers on the adhesive applied on the main secondary barriers; and a detecting sensor part for sensing a cross area crossing a second path, where the assistant secondary barriers are bonded, of the first path, wherein an application amount of the adhesive applied on the main secondary barriers is adjusted according to a detected signal of the detecting sensor part. |
