Suggested are a method and apparatus for analyzing and estimating stress by extracting an electrocardiogram waveform when a wireless electrocardiogram measuring device is attached. The method for analyzing and estimating the stress using a wireless communications electrocardiogram measurement obtains an inactive electrocardiogram data signal by attaching an electrocardiogram measuring device to a body of a user, and transmits the obtained electrocardiogram data signal to the apparatus for analyzing and estimating the stress using wireless communications. A preprocess for analyzing the obtained electrocardiogram data signal is performed. The preprocessed data signal is normalized. The feature of the normalized electrocardiogram data signal is stored. And, a stress degree is calculated by analyzing the stored electrocardiogram data signal. The calculated stress degree is quantified and displayed.
