The present invention relates to a device and a method for charging a vehicle. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the device includes: a sensor part which senses a charging state in a charging mode or senses a moving object within a predetermined range; a controlling part which receives signals sensed by the sensor part and controls an audio output part or a displaying part to output alarm; an audio output part which outputs alarming sound and alarm information based on the control of the controlling part; and the displaying part which outputs the alarm information based on the control of the controlling part. |
