Disclosed is a method of communicating with an athlete (6) who is waiting to participate in a sporting contest. The method includes providing eyewear (1) such that it is worn by the athlete (6) and is adapted to receive and display data. A computer system causes data relating to the sporting contest to be transmitted to the eyewear (1) such that it is received by the eyewear (1) and displayed to the athlete (6) before he or she plays in the sporting contest. |
