According to an embodiment of the present invention, a stereoscopic image display comprises: a thin film transistor array substrate; a color filter substrate facing the thin film transistor array substrate and comprising black matrix; a patterned retarder film which is located on the color filter substrate and includes a UV resin layer, which is formed on the color filter substrate and in which black stripes fill grooves, a polarizing plate disposed on the UV resin layer, and a patterned retarder pattern located on the polarizing plate; and a decompression adhesive for bonding the patterned retarder film on the color filter substrate.
