Repositionable label and related method

Disclosed is a method of labelling an item where the label can be repositioned before the adhesive becomes permanent. The method of labelling an item comprises the steps of providing a label having a release liner releasably adhered thereto, where the label comprises an adhesive, and a layer of face stock coupled to the adhesive, the layer of face stock being receptive to information printed on the layer of face stock. Information is printed on the layer of face stock utilising a printer. The label is removed from the release liner and applied to the item. The label can be removed from the item without causing damage to the item within a period of time less than or equal to five minutes or approximately one minute; and upon re-applying the label to the item, whereby the label becomes permanently adhered to the item over time and the item can be damaged as a result of the label being removed from the item after the label is permanently coupled to the item. The adhesive is AT-1. The face stock has a print receptive surface, the method further comprising the step of printing information on the print receptive surface of the face stock using a printer.
