Disclosed is a pump for water intake. The pump for water intake according to the present invention, devised for the purpose of water intake of a ship connected through a mooring line, is installed and sandwiched between the ship hull and mooring line, and includes a cylinder having one end coupled to either the mooring line or the ship; and a piston having one end coupled to the other side of either the ship hull or the mooring line where the cylinder is not coupled, and the other end coupled to the cylinder. The piston is inserted or withdrawn in response to the relative movement between the ship hull and mooring line. |
