The present invention relates to a composition containing a mixed extract of Achyranthes bidentata and Siegesbeckia glabrescens for preventing bone metabolism-related diseases and enhancing bone function. The composition including the mixed extract of Achyranthes bidentata and Siegesbeckia glabrescens, according to the present invention, has effects of preventing and treating diseases associated with bone formation by promoting cell proliferation which affects bone metabolism and inducing differentiation activity of osteoblasts. Therefore, it is expected that the composition including the mixed extract of Achyranthes bidentata and Siegesbeckia glabrescens of the present invention, as an active ingredient, can be useful as a pharmaceutical preparation or a function food for enhancing bone function and preventing bone metabolism-related diseases such as osteoporosis, osteopenia, osteomalacia, disorders of calcium regulation e.g., hypercalcemia and hypocalcemia.
