The present invention relates to an oil-free compressor. An oil converter for removing oil contained in air is connected between a reserve tank and a pressure converter of an oil injection compressor for discharging the air to a pneumatic machine or equipment by a heat exchanger and a catalyst, thereby removing the oil from the oil injection compressor to make the oil-free compressor. Since the oil components are repeatedly removed from the air through primary and secondary steps by the oil-free compressor, the oil contained in the air is decreased to 0.0025 ppm or less. Maintenance costs are remarkably reduced due to long replacing period (usable for about 50,000 hours or more) of the catalyst, as compared with a conventional oil-free compressor. |
