The present invention relates to an optical fingerprint recognition method using multi-exposure and a device thereof. The disclosed optical fingerprint recognition method comprises; a step of alternately scanning a fingerprint image by alternating different first and second scan conditions; a step of determining whether a fingerprint is a dry fingerprint according to a darkness degree of the fingerprint image by the first scan condition; and a step of recognizing a fingerprint using the fingerprint image by the first scan condition or the fingerprint image by the second scan condition according to a determination result regarding the dry fingerprint. The present image uses different fingerprint images for the fingerprint recognition according to the dry fingerprint after scanning the fingerprint image by the first scan condition or the fingerprint image by the second scan condition. The present invention does not receive a feedback to obtain additional information in contrast with the traditional technology and does not perform an adaptation gain control. Therefore, the present invention can recognize a fingerprint reliably in a short time. |
