PURPOSE: A monitoring camera and a method for controlling the same are provided to solve a signal receiving fault due to a delay of a signal reception. CONSTITUTION: A clamp circuit(71) changes the received signal through a coaxial cable to a straight polarity signal. A burst delete unit(72) eliminates a burst signal from the straight polarity signal. An amplification unit(73) amplifies the received signal. A peak detection unit(76) detects the peak value of the received signal. A comparison unit(74) generates valid reception signal, and input the signal to a signal process unit. |
