PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of not being able to perform, when an address book is displayed and the user selects a destination as in the case of a usual SEND function in communications via Wi-Fi Direct, transmission to the destination selected from the address book.SOLUTION: There is provided a communication device for performing communications with a communication terminal and a method of controlling the same. The communication device determines whether communications are performed in a wireless communication mode in which wireless communications are performed with a communication terminal using one of the communication terminal and the communication device as an access point upon receipt of an instruction for transmission, and sets, when it is determined that communications are performed in the wireless communication mode, a transmission destination as the other end of the communications by suppressing display of the address book. |
