PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a calibration system and a calibration method which allow calibration based on a photographic image and increase the degree of freedom of movement on a plane plate to be able to improve the accuracy of calibration.SOLUTION: A calibration system 10 is configured to include: a plane plate 12 having a prescribed pattern pt1 printed thereon; projection means 14 which projects a pattern pt2 identical to or different from the prescribed pattern pt1 onto the plane plate 12 so that the pattern pt2 at least partially overlaps the pattern printed on the plane plate 12; photographing means 16 which photographs at least the pattern pt1 printed on the plane plate 12 and the pattern pt2 projected on the plane plate 12 by the projection means 14; and control means 18 which controls the projection means 14 and the photographing means 16. The prescribed pattern pt1 comprises a locally identifiable pattern constituted of a plurality of markers having different identifiers respectively. |
