PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable control to receive a print job in advance, and subsequently perform output, in compressing print data to transmit to an image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: An image forming system stores received PJL data in a storage medium as information on an object to be displayed on a display device, stores received compressed PDL data in the storage medium in association with PJL data received in continuation, creates and outputs information for displaying a list of PDL data stored in the storage medium on the basis of the PJL data stored in the storage medium, and causes an image forming apparatus to execute formation and output of images in response to an output execution instruction that is input through selection of any of the displayed compressed PDL data. |
