PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce lines corresponding to a region setup of a patterned phase difference film, which shows up when viewing two-dimensional images on a passive-type image display device.SOLUTION: A patterned phase difference film 2 includes a transparent base material 12 and a phase difference layer 1, which gives a phase difference to transmitted light, laminated together. The phase difference layer 1 comprises first and second regions A, B alternately arrayed in sequence to give different phase differences to transmitted light. The patterned phase difference film 2 has an adjacent member 14 which is located next to the phase difference layer 1 and has a refractive index that is between a refractive index in a slow axis direction of the phase difference layer 1 and a refractive index in a fast axis direction of the phase difference layer 1.
