<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly determine uneven application of a material without using a special lighting unit such as an ultraviolet lamp.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus includes an acquisition unit, a calculation unit, and an image generation unit. The acquisition unit acquires a first image captured by an imaging device having the same sensor camera characteristics and to be used for calculating reflection characteristic data of a subject, and a second image to be used for calculating application amount data showing the amount of a material applied on the subject. The calculation unit calculates the reflection characteristic data of the subject by use of the first image, and calculates the application amount data of the material, on the basis of the second image, absorption performance data of the material, and the reflection characteristic data. The image generation unit generates an image on the basis of the second image and the application amount data.</p> |
