PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology for effectively performing learning even when the sufficient number of teacher images cannot be prepared for all of a plurality of classification categories.SOLUTION: A teacher data creation method comprises: a teaching step of associating one classification category into which each of a plurality of teacher images should be classified among a plurality of classification categories with each of the plurality of teacher images; a primary creation step of using at least one of the plurality of classification categories as a target category and making a set of values of a plurality of kinds of feature quantities calculated for the teacher image associated with the target category into teacher data associated with the target category; and a secondary creation step of generating a set of values of new feature quantities corresponding to a point at which distance from a point occupied by the teacher data is within a predetermined distance in a feature quantity space consisting of the plurality of kinds of feature quantities based on one piece of teacher data and making the values of feature quantities as new teacher data associated with the target category.
