The invention relates to a spacing knit fabric comprising a first and a second two-dimensional knit fabric layer (1, 2), which are interconnected via knitted spacing threads (4), wherein the first knit fabric layer (1) has openings (3a) formed by a plurality of meshes in each case, wherein threads of a first thread system, which forms the first knit fabric layer (1), are connected to each other solely by mutual intertwining, and wherein channels (5) are formed between the knit fabric layers and are free of spacing threads (4). Threads of a second thread system, which forms the second knit fabric layer (2), are connected to each other by intertwining and by at least partial fusion. The invention further relates to a method for producing a spacing knit fabric section. |
