Provided is a dust cover having a novel structure, the dust cover being easily mountable on a cylinder and being prevented from coming off the cylinder. A dust cover has a fitting cylinder section (38) provided at one axial end of a bellows cylinder section (14), and the fitting cylinder section (38) has formed therein a peripheral groove (40) open at the inner peripheral surface of the fitting cylinder section (38). An engagement claw (84) which protrudes from a cylinder (78) to the outer peripheral side is adapted to be fitted in the peripheral groove (40) from an opening of the fitting cylinder section (38). The fitting cylinder section (38) has formed thereon axially extending bend sections (46, 48) having a ridge-like cross-sectional shape which protrude to the outer peripheral side and which are open to the inner peripheral side. The diameter of the fitting cylinder section (38) is substantially expanded by the elastic circumferential expansion and deformation of the bend sections (46, 48). |
