<p>Overvoltage protection circuit and method, for use in preventing an electrical power supply from providing an excessively high voltage to an electronic cigarette, an electronic cigarette case or an electronic cigarette charger. The overvoltage protection circuit comprises: a direct current input end (100), a direct current output end (101), a voltage sampling circuit (102), a switch control circuit (103), and a switch circuit (104). The voltage sampling circuit (102) is electrically connected respectively to the direct current input end (100) and the switch control circuit (103). The switch control circuit (103) is electrically connected to the switch circuit (104). The switch circuit (104) is electrically connected respectively to the direct current input end (100), the direct current output end (101), and the switch control circuit (103). The overvoltage protection circuit is capable of providing an overvoltage protection effect for the electronic cigarette, the electronic cigarette case or the electronic cigarette charger, prevents a product being damaged by overvoltage, and increases the reliability and safeness of the electronic cigarette, the electronic cigarette case, and the charger.</p> |
