<p>Provided are a zoom lens and an imaging device using the same such that, along with a minimal number of lens groups and a reduction in size, a desired zoom ratio can be achieved and various aberrations are favorably corrected. A zoom lens (101) comprises sequentially from the object side: a first lens group (Gr1) having a negative refractive power, a second lens group (Gr2) having a positive refractive power, a third lens group (Gr3) having a negative refractive power, and a fourth lens group (Gr4) having a positive refractive power. The zoom lens (101) satisfies the following expressions: 2.0 < f4 / |f3| < 3.5 (1) 1.1 < (β2t /β2w) / (β3t /β3w) < 1.45 (2) Where, f3 is the focal distance (mm) of the third lens group (Gr3); f4 is the focal distance (mm) of the fourth lens group (Gr4);β2w is lateral magnification at the wide angle end of the second lens group (Gr2);β2t is lateral magnification at the telephoto end of the second lens group (Gr2);β3w is lateral magnification at the wide angle end of the third lens group (Gr3); andβ3t is lateral magnification at the telephoto end of the third lens group (Gr3).</p> |
