摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform the measurement of an optical signal-to-noise ratio in a simple configuration.SOLUTION: A measurement instrument 110 has a first acquisition unit 101, a second acquisition unit 102, a calculation unit 103, and an output unit 104. The first acquisition unit 101 acquires a first power ratio indicating a ratio of the power of a first wavelength in a first spectrum of an optical signal received from a transmission device 100a to the power of a second wavelength in the first spectrum. The second acquisition unit 102 acquires, through the transmission device 100a, a second power ratio indicating a ratio of the power of the first wavelength in a second spectrum on the transmission side of the optical signal to the power of the second wavelength in the second spectrum. The calculation unit 103 calculates an optical signal-to-noise ratio of the optical signal received by a receiving device 100b by using the first power ratio acquired by the first acquisition unit 101 and the second power ratio acquired by the second acquisition unit 102. The output unit 104 outputs the optical signal-to-noise ratio calculated by the calculation unit 103.
