PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for switching oxygen plants by monitoring the amount of oxygen usage in the oxygen plants, which enables oxygen supply with different pressure in switching of high-pressure oxygen supply pattern caused by the amount of oxygen usage in a flash furnace and a converter in a metal refining process; and a method for measuring the flow for switching oxygen plants.SOLUTION: The method for switching oxygen plants by monitoring the amount of oxygen usage in oxygen plants includes switching oxygen plants for supplying low-pressure oxygen corresponding to the amount of oxygen usage in a copper refining process, with installation of a bypass piping for each of an oxygen compressor facility for a flash furnace and a compressor facility for a converter, which generate high-pressure oxygen for use in the flash furnace and the converter from low-pressure oxygen supplied from two oxygen manufacturing plants having different discharge pressure in a copper refining process, enabling each of the two oxygen plants to make a dedicated supply source. |
