<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect states of a plurality of secondary batteries having different kinds with high precision.SOLUTION: A second battery state detector comprises: measuring means (a voltage sensor 11, and a current sensor 12) for measuring a current value of the current flowing to a secondary battery 14 and a voltage value of the voltage generated in the second battery due to the current; optimization means (CPU 10a) for optimizing an element constant of an equivalent circuit model of the second battery on the basis of the measured voltage value and current value; identification means (CPU 10a) for identifying the type of the secondary battery by referring to the optimized element constant of the equivalent circuit model; storage means (ROM 10b) for storing a detection type for detecting a state of the secondary battery for each second battery kind; acquisition means (CPU 10a) for acquiring the detection type corresponding to the identified kind from the storage means; and detection means (CPU 10a) for detecting the state of the secondary battery by applying the element constant to the acquired detection type.</p> |
