A portable telephone is equipped with a resin antenna case (21), a metal insert plate (31) insert-molded into the antenna case (21) and having a connecting section (32) that is exposed from the outer surface (21a) of the antenna case (21), and thin film-like antenna elements (41) provided on the outer surface (21a) of the antenna case (21) and coming into contact with the connecting section (32). Such a configuration provides a portable device with excellent waterproofing.
