PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roll coater which has a simple structure and is able to secure a high coating precision.SOLUTION: This roll coater comprises a body frame 4 equipped with a linear rail 6, a pair of support parts 8 oppositely arranged with an interval from each other and movable on the body frame while being guided by the linear rail, a backing roll 10 that spans the support parts and is supported so as to be rotatable, clamps 11 provided to the body frame so as to be elevatable to grip the end of a flexible board 3 arranged on the backing roll on both its sides, and a paint discharge die 5 that spans the support parts above the backing roll, is provided so as to be elevatable for changing the interval from the backing roll and able to discharge the paint toward the flexible board, so that the paint is discharged out of the paint discharge die while moving the support parts to coat the flexible board with the end gripped by the clamps at a position lower than the backing roll. |
