PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cast piece pull-out device in which a cast piece can be easily pulled out from a continuous casting facility, when maintenance such as periodic inspection and exchange is performed.SOLUTION: A cast piece pull-out device 1, which is provided in a continuous casting facility 30 configured from plural strands, comprises at least one roll stand 2 equipped with a pair of pinch rolls 6 for pulling-out a cast piece 32, a drive unit 3 for giving a rotational drive power to the pinch rolls 6, and a transmission shaft 4 for transmitting the rotational drive force from the drive unit 3 to the roll stand 2. The drive unit 3 is disposed below the roll stand 2 in such a manner that an output shaft 13 provided to the drive unit 3 is directed upwards, and the transmission shaft 4 is connected to the output shaft 13. |
