PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weather strip that has improved retentiveness and reduced weight.SOLUTION: At an installation basement 4 having a substantially U-shaped cross section of a weather strip 3, a resin-made core material 12 which is analog of the installation basement 4 is buried. Corner parts 18a and 18b of the core material 12 is formed with a high rigidity resin material which is more rigid than general parts of the core material 12 except the corner parts 18a and 18b. When the weather strip 3 is bent to follow a flange part 2, the corner parts 18a and 18b can be prevented from a so-called peeling-off phenomenon. The resin core material 12 is thus reduced in weight, and retentiveness of the weather strip 3 for the flange part 2 is improved. |
