PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet for an optical substrate, which has functions of improving visibility, giving high transparency, preventing scattering, and the like when the sheet is used for optical purposes, and thereby, which is suitable not only for manufacturing components of various displays but also for various optical applications.SOLUTION: A pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet for an optical substrate includes a pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet layer on both surfaces of a film substrate core having a coating layer obtained by applying a coating liquid containing polyvinyl alcohol on both surfaces of a polyester film. When a float plate glass having 1 mm thickness is laminated to a surface of each pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet layer, the pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet shows transparency of 70% or more and image clarity of 85% or more. A release film is applied on both surfaces of the pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet layer, in which an intermediate layer excluding an outermost layer of at least one polyester film constituting the release film contains a laser marking compound. |
