PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable image formation device capable of preventing erroneous detection by an IDC sensor, and maintaining a stable image quality.SOLUTION: An image formation device includes: a plurality of support rollers including a first roller and a second roller arranged on a downstream side in a belt running direction of the first roller; a belt wound around the plurality of support rollers; an image formation part for forming a toner image on the belt; a transfer roller arranged opposing the second roller across the belt; and an optical image detection part arranged opposing the first roller across the belt and configured to detect the toner image on the belt. A surface condition of a first area corresponding to a detection area of the image detection part on the first roller is compared with a surface condition of a second area corresponding to an area other than the detection area, so as to make a condition difficult for a foreign substance to adhere. |
