A control circuit accesses information that relates to an ordinary set (of images) for a particular object class wherein this ordinary set includes (exclusively, if desired) a range of images that represent a non-extraordinary state for the object class. By then accessing data representing an image of a particular unique object and identifying an object class of that particular unique object, the present teachings will accommodate accessing an object class record that contains information related to the aforementioned ordinary set for the object class. That data can then be used to project an image of the particular unique object onto the ordinary set for the object class to provide corresponding projection information. An anomaly image can then be produced, at least in part, by identifying differences between the image of the particular object and the projection information.
|
