PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage control device and a storage system for achieving a virtual storage which can perform high-capacity and real-time access using a plurality of storage devices.SOLUTION: A storage control device 3 comprises: an area control unit 352 which configures a virtual storage using an area determined to be valid as a storage area, by determining the valid area among each of storage areas for each type of the storage areas, for each storage area which two or more storage devices include; a property control unit 351 for selecting the lowest value as speed information of the virtual storage among the minimum guaranteed speeds of read and write included in each piece of property information by referring to each piece of the property information which the two or more storage devices include; and an access control unit 354 which transmits information about the storage area of the virtual storage and the speed information to a host device performing read and write to the virtual storage. |
