PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an FT server in which a down time of a virtual machine is shortened.SOLUTION: A virtual machine 601 of an operation system includes a memory 602 composed of a plurality of small regions 603 grouped into a first group and a plurality of small regions 603 grouped into a second group. When a checkpoint is detected by checkpoint detection means 604, transfer control means 605 suspends the virtual machine 601, copies data of the small regions 603 belonging to the first group, out of the small regions 603 of the memory 602 updated after the preceding checkpoint, to a transfer buffer (not illustrated), write-protects the small regions belonging to the second group, and then restarts the virtual machine 601. The transfer control means furthermore copies data of the write-protected small regions 603 to the transfer buffer, releases the write-protected state, and transfers the data of the small regions copied to the transfer buffer, to a physical machine 700. |
