PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine whether a shield plate bites into a photoelectric sensor by a proper quantity in addition to a function of detecting an elevator car position by blocking one of a plurality of optical axes of the photoelectric sensor by the shield plate.SOLUTION: An abnormality diagnostic device includes determination means of determining whether a landing position of an elevator car is proper based upon the output of a photoelectric sensor 3 comprising a plurality of light projection parts, optical axes, and light reception parts, and a shield plate biting quantity determination means of determining the quantity of biting of the shield plate into the photoelectric sensor 3. The shield plate 4 is provided with cut pars 41, 42 which detect the quantity of biting of the shield plate into the photoelectric sensor 3 in regions different from recessed parts 43, 44 for elevator-car position detection so as to determine abnormality of the quantity of biting based upon output change of the photoelectric sensor 3. |
