<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag device which can be easily designed even when being developed in accordance with vehicle types having a different outer shape of an installation place.SOLUTION: An air bag device includes a swelling part 11 which expands and develops when gas is introduced, and a gas generator 61 which generates gas to be introduced in the swelling part 11. The swelling part 11 includes a main gas chamber 20, and a sub gas chamber 30 having a smaller volume than the main gas chamber 20. The gas from the gas generator 61 flows in the sub gas chamber 30, and flows in the main gas chamber 20 through the sub gas chamber 30. The sub gas chamber 30 is arranged outside the main gas chamber 20 so as to abut on an outer side surface of the main gas chamber 20 at least in a developing state, and is formed so as to guide a developing direction of the main gas chamber 20 to a predetermined direction when the sub gas chamber is in the developing state.</p> |
