<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display element allowing high-speed response and excellent in liquid crystal alignment property.SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display element has: a liquid crystal layer including a liquid crystal composition containing a cyclohexane compound represented by the following formula (1); a liquid crystal orientation film formed using liquid crystal alignment agent containing one kind of polymer (A) selected from the group consisting of polyamic acid, polyimide and polyamic acid ester. In the formula (1), Rand Rrepresent monovalent chain hydrocarbon and the like, and Qis divalent group represented by any one of the following formulae where X represents a hydrogen atom or a halogen atom, and Y represents a halogen atom.</p> |
