PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce temperature difference between square batteries constituting a battery block in a forced ventilation stopped state.SOLUTION: A battery system laminates a plurality of square batteries 1, and has a battery block 10 formed by providing a plurality of rows of cooling gaps 3 on the surface of the square batteries 1 laminated on each other. The cooling gaps 3 provided in the battery block 10 have different shapes on the stack central part side and the stack end part side, and a cooling gap 3X on the stack central part side is made to have a shape allowing gas in the cooling gap 3 to flow through the cooling gap 3 more smoothly than that in the cooling gap 3Y on the stack end part side. |
