PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalyst device for exhaust gas which can secure high seal performance, and can improve durability.SOLUTION: A catalyst device for exhaust gas comprises: a cylindrical casing which penetrates in the vertical direction; a frame body which is hung and supported in the casing; a catalyst which is supported to the inside of the frame body; and a seal member 51 which is interposed between an internal face of the casing and the frame body, and composed of glass fibers. A penetration part 68 penetrated with a fixing implement 66 for fixing the seal member 51 is fixed at a fixed part 51 which is fixed to the casing and/or the frame body, and a metal-made protection member 67 into which the fixing implement 66 can be inserted is arranged at the penetration part 68 so as to cover an internal peripheral face of the penetration part 68. |
