PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for detecting aggregate-forming circulating protein forms with the use of an agent for flocculating the forms and an agent for capturing the formed aggregates.SOLUTION: The invention concerns a method for detecting aggregate-forming circulating protein forms in a biological specimen of human origin which may contain the aggregate-forming circulating protein forms. The method uses a non-protein agent I for causing aggregation of circulating forms of non-infectious proteins which is involved in a pathological aggregation process of a central nervous system, and/or a non-protein agent II for capturing natural aggregates of the aggregate-forming circulating protein forms or aggregates derived by the agent I.
