PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shutter device capable of quickly settling a bound at the time of return, shortening release time lag and increasing the frame speed, and to provide an imaging apparatus.SOLUTION: The shutter device includes: a blade member for opening/closing an opening for exposure formed at a shutter base plate; a blade moving member for moving between an opening position where the blade member opens the opening for exposure and a closing position where the blade member closes the opening for exposure; a latch member for latching the blade moving member at the closing position; a drive member for driving the blade moving member so that the blade moving member moves from the opening position to the closing position; and a restriction member for moving between a restricting position where movement of the blade moving member from the opening position to the closing position is restricted, and a releasing position where the restriction is released. After the blade moving member moves from the closing position to the opening position, the restriction member moves from the releasing position to the restricting position, and before the drive member drives the blade moving member, the latch member moves the restriction member from the restricting position to the releasing position. |
