<p>Multiple composite rubber cord materials, which are obtained by embedding multiple cords disposed in parallel along the longitudinal direction of a rubber sheet and which have a specified width in the direction transverse to said cords, are prepared. The width direction edges of composite rubber cord materials that are adjacent to each other are continuously abutted against each other and bonded using a bonding device to obtain a composite rubber cord material that is wider than before the bonding. The tension of the composite rubber cord materials, which are guided to the bonding device separated from each other prior to bonding, is adjusted by a tension-adjusting device and the adjusted tension composite rubber cord materials are guided toward the bonding device by a guiding device.</p> |
