The present invention relates to an intelligent connector band unit for photovoltaic power generation, which is installed between plural unit solar cell arrays (10, 10′ and 10′′), each of which has plural solar cell modules (M) to form a unit, and plural unit inverters (20, 20′ and 20′′), each of which converts DC power output from the unit solar cell array into AC power. An intelligent connector band unit, which is installed between a unit solar cell array (10, 10′ or 10′′) and a unit inverter (20, 20′ or 20′′), includes a unit connector band (31, 31′ or 31′′) for combining DC power output from plural solar cell modules (M) and for outputting the combined DC power to each unit inverter (20, 20′ or 20′′); a unit surge protector (32, 32′ or 32″) connected to the unit connector band (31, 31′ or 31′′) to prevent a surge from being applied to the unit connector band (31, 31′ or 31′′) while bypassing the surge when the surge is generated from a specific unit solar cell array; and a unit surge protector operating signal generating unit (33, 33′ or 33″) connected to the unit connector band (31, 31′ or 31′′) to generate a surge protector operating signal for informing the operation of a specific unit surge protector when the specific unit surge protector is operated. |
