PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To estimate a ground position of a detected object.SOLUTION: An image processing system 1 includes an image input unit 11, an object detection unit 121 and a ground position estimation unit 122. The frame image of a target area imaged by a video camera 2 is inputted into the image input part 11. The object detection unit 121 processes the inputted frame image and detects an imaged object 200. The ground position estimation unit 122 determines a block S estimated as the ground position of an object 200-ID on the frame image on the basis of a distance between a lower right end C of a smallest rectangle 500 surrounding the object 200-ID and a block hanging the object 200-ID.
