PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate re-setup of a printer driver of a substitute printer.SOLUTION: A function to change setting of a device ID is provided to a printer. Since the device ID is set to be freely changeable, a substitute printer which has a common device ID can be recognized as an original printer by a plug-and-play. Therefore, a printer driver with the common device ID can construct a plug-and-play relation and labor in re-setup can be eliminated. |
