PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an EVOH-containing resin composition which has superior appearance characteristics and long running performance in melt molding and can suppress occurrence of yellowing and the like in melt molding, for example, in particular, can suppress occurrence of yellowing in melt molding at a high temperature of approximately 260°C, and to provide a multilayer structure molded from the composition.SOLUTION: A resin composition comprises: (A) an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer; (B) a carboxylic acid and/or a carboxylate ion; and (C) a metal ion. The (B) carboxylic acid and/or a carboxylate ion includes (B2) a multivalent carboxylic acid having a hydroxy group and/or a multivalent carboxylate ion, the content of the (B2) component is 0.01μmol/g or more and 20μmol/g or less, the (C) component contains (C1) an alkali metal ion, and the molar ratio (B2/C1) of (B2) the multivalent carboxylic acid and the multivalent carboxylate ion to (C1) the alkali metal ion is 0.002 or more and 2 or less. |
