More specifically, the invention relates to novel single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs), and the cumulative genetic association of these and other SNPs in various genes, with the prognosis of asthma severity. The invention also extends to kits and other prognostic tools used to provide the prognosis of asthma severity.
