The aim of the present invention is to provide a seat module for maintaining the posture of a disabled person, the seat module being adapted so as to allow maintenance of a posture appropriate to the tone of the disabled person by being adjustable in the length direction and rotational direction thereof and also from top to bottom and left to right such that the cervical region/trunk/pelvis/femoral region and the lower leg region of the disabled person match the body characteristics and the extent of disability of the disabled person; having taken such considerations into account. More particularly, another aim of the present invention is to provide a seat module for maintaining the posture of a disabled person, the seat module being adapted so as to be usable with adjustments that allow anyone to maintain the desired posture easily and rapidly despite a straightforward construction, by making it possible to achieve such posture maintenance through the use of a knob that can be rotated by hand and elongated holes. The seat module for maintaining the posture of a disabled person according to the present invention, which is adapted to achieve the above aims, is one which includes a seat (100) and a backrest (200) provided hinge-fastened to the seat (100) in such a way that the rotational angle thereof can be adjusted and incorporating a height-adjustable neckrest (250) and a left-to-right width-adjustable pelvis support (220), and, in the seat module for maintaining the posture of a disabled person: the front edge portion of the seat (100) is provided with a pair of femoral-region supports (110) of which the front-to-back lengths and the left-to-right rotational angles can be adjusted, and with a lower-leg support (300) for supporting the soles of the feet and allowing adjustment of the heights and front-to-back angles thereof and the knee angles; and an upper part of the backrest (200) is provided with a trunk support (210) of which the vertical height and left-to-right width can be adjusted. |
