This rotary machine support device (20, 40) is used to support a rotary machine (1) having a rotating shaft (7) and a bearing housing (8) having a flange (11, 62). This rotary machine support device is provided with a support section (22) for supporting the rotary machine. The support section is provided with an attachment flange (25, 61) adapted to abut against the flange, and with a plurality of arms (24, 41) having a sandwiched portion (34, 45, 53) which is sandwiched between the mutually abutted attachment flange and the flange, and which presses thereagainst inwardly in a radial direction from the outside in the radial direction. The sandwiched portion has a pair of claws (34a, 60). At least the attachment flange and/or a groove part (34b) formed between the pair of claws is formed to a tapered shape, the tapered shape being formed such that the width thereof in the direction of opposition of the flange and the attachment flange is progressively smaller, moving outwardly in a radial direction from the inside in the radial direction. |
