摘要 The present invention relates to a cathode active material using a silicone/carbon core-shell for a lithium secondary battery, and a method for manufacturing same. According to the present invention, the cathode active material using the silicone-carbon core-shell can effectively reduce volume expansion of the silicone, which occurs during a process of charging/discharging, by means of an increase in battery capacity due to silicone and a buffering effect of a carbon shell and a carbon-based support. As a result, a secondary battery having a high charging/discharging capacity and a superior cycle property can be achieved.
